The Walton Fabrication rear leaf spring kit for the 1949-54 Chevy passenger car lowers the back of the car 5" from the stock height when you use the 2" lowering blocks included with the kit. This still leaves you with 3" to 3-1/4" of space between the rear axle housing and the frame. The kit includes: leaf springs, U-bolt kit w/5-hole plates and lower shock mounts, lowering blocks, front spring hangers, rear spring hangers, shackle kit, axle spring pads and all hardware. This is a complete, easy to install kit that bolts into the original rivet holes after you have drilled out the rivets and removed the original mounts.
